DreamPulse — Privacy Policy

DreamPulse is a sleep alarm for Wear OS watches, developed by Saad Hasson (X13LABS). This policy explains what the app reads, what it keeps, and where.

In short: DreamPulse has no internet permission. Everything it reads or stores stays on your watch. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.

1. What the app reads

• Heart rate, through Android Health Services, to tell when you have fallen asleep.
• Motion (accelerometer), to detect stillness while you fall asleep, light-sleep movement for Smart Wake, and a wrist shake to stop the alarm.
• Whether the watch is on your wrist, so a watch left on a table is never counted as asleep.
• The watch's own sleep state (asleep or awake), reported by Health Services.
• Battery level at the start and end of each night, to show how much the app used.

2. What the app keeps, on the watch only

• Your settings: sleep goal, wake-by time, app language.
• The current session: start time, time you fell asleep, alarm time.
• Night history (last 30 nights, the last 7 are shown): session start, time you fell asleep, wake time, sleep goal, and battery at start and end.
• Detection log (last 7 sessions): one line per minute until you fall asleep, with the number of movements, average heart rate, whether the watch was worn, and minutes of stillness. It is used to improve detection accuracy.
• Error log: if the app ever crashes, a technical report (time, app version, watch model, Android version, and where in the code it failed) is kept on the watch. You can view or clear it in Settings; it is only shared if you choose to send it yourself.

This data is stored in the app's own storage on your watch, which other apps cannot read. It is never uploaded, never shared, never sold, and never used for advertising. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.

3. Permissions

• BODY_SENSORS, BODY_SENSORS_BACKGROUND: read heart rate, including while the screen is off.
• ACTIVITY_RECOGNITION: detect motion and the watch's sleep state.
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_HEALTH, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SYSTEM_EXEMPTED: keep sleep detection and the ringing alarm running with the screen off.
• USE_EXACT_ALARM: ring at the exact time.
• USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT: open the alarm screen when it rings.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: show the tracking status and the alarm.
• WAKE_LOCK, VIBRATE: keep the watch awake when needed and vibrate for the alarm.
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: restore your alarm if the watch restarts during the night.

DreamPulse does not request internet, location, contacts, microphone or camera access.

4. Children

DreamPulse is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

5. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published here with an updated date.
